  Granted, I’ve been listening to this album since and so it was quite a jolt for me when I picked up the Mobile Fidelity Half-speed master vinyl in I then learned about the infamous remix. First most famously heard as part of “This Is The Moody Blues” (Tuesday Afternoon, Nights In White Satin)/5(). Reply

  The Moody Blues took the concept approach and created one of the most fantastic sounding albums in the year when 4 track recording was standard, and singles were more important than albums. Days of Future Passed is the one album everyone who loves the concept format in pop should have/5(). Reply

  This album marked the formal debut of the psychedelic-era Moody Blues; though they'd made a pair of singles featuring new (as of ) members Justin Hayward and John Lodge, Days of Future Passed was a lot bolder and more ambitious. What surprises first-time listeners -- and delighted them at the time -- is the degree to which the group shares the spotlight with the London Festival Orchestra. Reply

  This is an excellent piece of work from The Moody Blues, every track has been remasteted and sounds like it was recorded yesterday. The album comes in mono, stereo and on the dvd mix, all sound excellent and also footage of them singing on French TV.   Justin Haywood, John Lodge, Ray Thomas, Michael Pinder and drummer Graham Edge who made up the Moody Blues, not only created a landmark album with Days of Future Passed, but this album in the way of Sargent Pepper set a standard for the way albums would be made in the years too come with the musical influence created by the Moodies and Beatles.
